Irene provides counseling to individuals and couples and groups. She specializes in depression, relationship difficulties, career struggles and exploration, aging and gerontological issues, women's issues, parenting challenges, job stress and uncertainty and major life transitions. Irene consults on education, research, psychoeducational assessment, and mental health and well-being in the workplace.

Irene is completing her Ph.D. in Counseling and Counselor Education at the University of Rochester Warner School of Education. Her current research interest revolves around gaming and older adults. Irene has her limited permit in Mental Health Counseling. She has an M.S. and Certificate of Advanced Study in School Psychology and holds NYS Provisional Certification in School Psychology.

Irene has experience teaching master's level courses in Assessment and Evaluation. Irene also has an MBA and has experience working with clients facing corporate stress and job uncertainty. She is a member of the American Counseling Association and American Psychological Association.
